Volta Belting is the most recognised brand in the world for providing a ply-free, highly hygienic homogeneous thermoplastic material, suitable for both food and general industries.
By eliminating Plies and fabric, the thermoplastic composition of Volta Belting has no chance to delaminate, fray or peel when used in harsh conditions. With its non-absorbent, hygienic and abrasion resistant properties, Volta belting has become a troubleshooter in industries where traditional belting has failed to live up to its expectations.
History of Volta
BMA Belting has been the sole Australian distributor for Volta Belting for over 25 years, with the product still being a major part in BMA Belting’s success until today. The opportunity for Volta in Australia arose in the 1980’s when major food manufacturers in red meat, poultry, and aquaculture industries faced an issue with high bacteria counts, product contamination and short belt life using traditional PU and PVC plied belting. From there, BMA Belting have been able to provide a continued solution for these industries, plus expanding into other areas, and forming a comprehensive stock range and support network across Australia.
Volta Food Grade
Volta Food Grade Belts are a specially designed homogeneous non absorbing material. These belts have no plies or fabric which in return eliminates the possibility of the material delaminating, fraying or contaminating food. With a smooth abrasion resistant finish, Volta Food Grade Belting eliminates cracks and crevices for bacteria and microbes to harbor and grow. This provides the belt with a vastly extended life compared to PVC and PU belting.

Volta Gencon
BMA Belting’s range of Volta Gencon allows you to install a belt in a matter of minutes using the electrode welding system, keeping maintenance downtime at a bare minimum. Repair jobs such as patching holes and welding up tears in the belt are quick and easy, extending the belt’s operating life and returning the belt to active service. This is something unmatched by PVC belting. As an added bonus, some of the Volta Gencon range is made with a greatly harder top cover than any PVC or PU belt in available on the market, creating superior abrasion resistance.
